Allocated landline number still valid if unused for 3 years

Joined Sky 32 months ago, I was allocated landline number.

Never used, but now retired, I wish to switch as a main contact number.

Is this number still allocated / enabled to me.

Dial 17070 from the landline phone and listen to the automated message that should state your number and provider.
