All incoming calls are International ********890 and the date and time 5 Dec 13.21.

The neighbours are having similar problems and BT consider it to be a switchboard issue which they will resolve on the 6th Sept.

Is anyone else having similar problems?

@Mirror51 suppose it could be a fault at the exchange but the time server checks  and Caller Line Info for Sky customers use a different network from BT Retail customers after the exchange. Sounds like a local issue and a pretty weird one at that.
