Hi my landline phone didn't work was out of order 27/6/24 got a message the next day saying the Engineer will be coming on 2/7/24 between 1.00pm and 6.00pm he came just before 12.00 on that Tuesday I was wondering if I can get any compensation for those days my phone was out of order as the problem was caused outside in the box it took him over 2hrs to sort it out I was pleased he done it ,can you please email me to see if I am due any compensation Mrs S.Hassan.

If they agree they will work out what you pay for 5 days and they should then apply a credit to your account that can be used against a future bill.

The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (new rates apply from 01/04/24 of £9.76 per day).
