suspend sky tv as can't watch die to house building works

I am having building works to the house and have a scaffold tent ov er and am unable to watch sky tv with the sky dish unable to pick up any signal. can I suspend my packages until works are complete in November. I tried calling to discuss but got cut off. The works started in May and finish in November and then want to upgrade to more packages and multi room again

I'm afraid that's not something Sky offers. If you're not 'in contract' you could cancel?

If you do cancel whilst the work is carried out it's worth noting that…

1. you will need to give 31 days notice if you're not in a discounted term and
2. when you rejoin you won't be able to stay on Sky+

While you might not be able to use your Sky+ box you can access content via Sky Go throughout this time that you have no signal to your box.

@Normski46  It's also worth noting that if you do cancel and rejoin you won't qualify for new customer discount as sky will see you as a returning customer unless there is an 18/24 month gap between cancellation and return
