sky hd box insurance

Hi, does anyone pay for insurance on their sky hd box,to cover repairs and maintenance

I am upgrading to sky Q box and have been told by sky that I do not need to have insurance

Sky Q Hardware is loaned to you by Sky so is not your property thus you need not insure it 🙂

@sandrasl The Sky+HD box is yours so having insurance might be desirable (personally I don't). The Sky Q box is loaned by Sky, so repairs are free anyway. Having the insurance would cover accidental damage and might get a faster engineer appointment.
