lost channels on sky + box. Checked line 1 and 2 settings and good signal 2 but not on line 1. Now 2

Bbc1 and Itv1 and some other channels showing no signal message but sky sports movies ok. Checked settings and showed no signal line 1 but full signal line 2. Swapped 1 and 2 cables round and showed signal on line 1 and then went off again and put caes back to normal. Later in day channels came back on and then went back off but now shows line 1 signal none in line 2? This must be sky issue surely.

@Mick+M66 Almost certainly an issue with your dish/LNB/cables or, less likely, the box itself.

As Sky no longer support Sky+HD box setups you will need to contact a local satellite company to investigate, unless you have Sky Protect cover.

An alternative would be to switch to Sky Q at this point, in which case Sky will correct the fault during installation.

Having similar issues this past week, bbc 1 and bbc 4 won't work in the evening, just get no signal on those channels, all others are fine!

I have two Sky + HD boxes. The last couple of days I've lost BBC 1 and some other channels on both boxes. 
I've rebooted the boxes and still the same problem. 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check that you're looking at the HD channels, not standard definition. The SD versions have closed down.

Yes I'm looking at the HD Channels. I'm aware that sd no longer work.

What happens when you tune to one of the missing channels? Is there an error message?

Edited to add: my first suspicion would be that your dish has moved slightly as a result of the recent storms.

Sorted mine at the weekend, swapped the cables on the lnb over and tightened them up, signal back up to nearly full now.
