No, but it is with the sky Sports app on a mobile or tablet.

Same here

it is ridiculous they can not add sky Q with separate private profiles on multi rooms or let us have a main sky a box in each room

no one wants to share a box with downstairs and have go look at all what they recorded and sharing memory with other people

You can't put sky Sports app on a mobile or tablet on a full screen tv

it is ridiculous

Re: can i get sky sports + if i only got sky hd box

Yes this seems a tad ridiculous what about skys elderly customers?

My uncle is 89 and suffers a bit with dementia, he is fine once things stay the same. If something new is introduced he gets frustrated and and cant cope with change.

Sky recently upgraded him to Sky Q, he was literally watching the same episode of tipping point over and over again and couldn't get SkyQ to work right.

I had to call the accessibility team, who were very nice and change him back to the hd box. They have adsl broadband installed, I can't really move them to fibre as all the gadgets they have (fall alarm/special phones) need the pstn network but it isn't fast enough to stream live.

He follows football but it's not really fair if he is going to miss out, what happened to the red button services?

there is enough dross being broadcast up there, they should be made broadcast them to ensure all sports customers are able to receive them on their current platform.

Lastly, sorry off topic, the €15 hd charge, had this been scrapped now that all sky channels are moving to HD only? Why is this still on the bill?

With respect to this statement: Sky don't support Sky +HD anymore, they are more than happy to take the €168 a month for it though!!!!

There are still a huge number of hotels and pubs  with old hd equipment.

i think their attitude that hd is unsupported is premature even at this stage.

also can they not develop a "skin" for the sky Q box to make the menu system look and feel like the hd menu?

There are too many of us customers being left behind here. I was one of the first to get analogue then sky digitalis 1997 and Sky hd in 2005/2006?

to say I'm getting annoyed now is an understatement and the continued loss of content over the past few years is certainly dramatic. Sky now is essentially HBO max and sports.

No, channels that are part of the HD pack will continue to be available in SD for those who don't pay for HD.

@Andymc2000

I think you may have misunderstood.

The SKY SD Channels are not closing down - they are justchanging the transmission method which the old SKY SD boxes can;'t decode - SKY HD boxes will still get them and be able to decode them.

Re: can i get sky sports + if i only got sky hd box

Thanks for that!

How weird, seems like a waste of good bandwidth to me, why continue to broadcast an SD variant if the SD boxes can no longer receive it?

why not broadcast the sky sports + games instead.....

Re: can i get sky sports + if i only got sky hd box

The whole thing needs rationalisation at this point.

The HD pack is what £10/€15 why not just increase everyone's sub by £5/€7 and have done with SD?
