Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe best channel to use depends on the broadcast frequencies used by terrestrial Freeview in your area. That varies from area to area so it's impossible to advise you. If you can post details of which Freeview transmitters operate in your area, we might be able to tell you which channels to avoid, otherwise it's a case of trial and error, I'm afraid. Anything above channel 50, however may be susceptible to interference from 4G mobile transmitters.

It wouldn't be practical, especially bearing in mind that Sky+ is now a legacy system no longer marketed except in very specific circumstances. This information is anyway available online from various sources. If you can't find it, tell us which transmitter your TV aerial is pointed at, and we might be able to look it up for you,.

it not marketerd becoiuasse for aditional rooms they cahrge extra legacy or not it is better option for me , foir me to updagrde for 3 tvs i would have to pay 10- ;pounds extra a month and but additional sky q boxes for rooms like bedroom and kitchen. at which i have no poit n to moun the box safely as tvs are wall mounted . so for 2 q pboxes plus the sq maiin box it would cost me in access of 200 pounds to get there services i already pay for and thats not inc thje extra 120 pounds per mont tho watch it .
i Tghinks its time to say bye bye sky tooo expensive tahts all on top of the mopney i apy a month for m,ovbvies and tv

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Andrew+Mansfield You will need to call Sky or use the following link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
You can also call on 150 from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk line
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.
If you don't see the Contact options on the link above make sure java script is enabled on your browser.

checked online

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreA check online confirms that the 6 main Freeview multiplexes at Winter Hill are using UHF channels 29, 31, 32, 34, 35, and 37. There are a couple of locals on 29 and 40.
So an RF Output Channel above 40 or in the low 20s shouldn't suffer Freeview interference.
Channels above 50, if your TVs tune that high, may pick up 4G/5G interference.
