Wireless connector on top of sky+ box will not pick up broadband
Wireless connector on top of sky+ box will not pick up broadband. I've tried disconnecting connector and box, along with my broadband router a number of times. Broadband router is working and providing wifi across the house.

If you need a replacement Mini Connect box, try eBay: there are multiple listings for both models (USB or ethernet) for around £10, but be sure to get the one which matches yours. Sky won't supply such hardware these days: they haven't manufactured any for about a decade.
Alternatively, late model Sky+ HD boxes with built-in WiFi are about £30.

Re: Wireless connector on top of sky+ box will not pick up broadband
@zenshin have you tried this sequence:
1. Put your Sky box in standby and turn off at the plug
2. Disconnect the Mini Connector
3. Turn off your router at the plug
4. Wait 30 seconds before turning on your router and another 4 minutes before turning on your Sky box
5. Wait for your Sky box to fully restart
6. Reconnect Reconnect Mini Connector
If that doesn't kick it into life, I think you'll need to replace the Mini Connector.
