Is this the same Sky+HD box it was paired with at the end of October 2024?

@DD52 Why? Is this a replacement box? Your Viewing Card is locked to the Sky box you had in October 2024 and can't be paired with any other box. If that's the box ypu need to pair it with, carrying out a New Install will pair it. If thay doesn't work, you'll have to call, I'm afraid

@DD52 'New Install' is an option in the hidden menu, which you can access by keying Services,0,0,1,Select on your remote. It will only work if your Sky box is connected to the Internet.

@DD52 it won't work without an Internet connection, I'm afraid. You'll need to call. Don't let the adviser tell you you'll have to upgrade! (Unless you want to, of course!)

No it did not work

strange as this has happened before and spoke to someone at sky and had it all up and running without internet connection

Did call on the 0300 number where you get a non human who asks you the problem and they message a link to this forem

do you know any numbers at sky where you can speak to technical

All calls will start automated (aka 'the bot') which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.
