Transfer recordings from Sky+HD to Sky Q

I have recordings on my Sky+HD which I would like to keep after upgrading to Sky Q. Is it possible to transfer these recordings to the Sky Q box, or if not copy them to a USB flash drive/other option before the old box is replaced?

@gg52  whilst there may be ways Doing so is against your terms and conditions with sky

the purpose of recordings is to view them timeshift and delete during your subscription period on the product in question not keep them indefinitely

You could save any FTA programmes to a VCR or DVDR😉

And most non-FTA programmes as well. Tends to be only movies and sport that are blocked from doing so.
