The Last of Us, Season 1, episode 8

Hi, has anyone had any problems trying to get this episode to play today. It keeps defaulting to starting and finishing at the same place - initially with a message that says "Wait for your programme to load" and then as it cuts off says "there is a technical problem with this programme, please try again later".

It is driving me crazy, and since it is virtually impossible to talk to anyone at sky I am now stumped. I have turned everything off and on. I have walked away for a number of hours and it is still the same problem. thoughts?

Have you tried both the HD (if you subscribe to the HD package) and the SD version to see if they both do the same ?

 

Also have you tried deleting this download, deleting it again from the deleted folder and downloading it again ?

In the end I had to physically pull the power from the TV for it to reset itself. As per phone instructions from the guy on the phone that I finally got hold of.  So note to self. turning off the remote is not enough to reset these glitches.
