TNT sport breaking up and Pixelating.
I have Sky TV but have TNT through BT. I rang BT to say TNT was unwatchable they had me reset everything to know availe. After 90 mins on chat they then said it was down to Sky and that my dish needs re-aligning which I am not to sure about. Everything on Sky works perfectly. I have a Sky HD + box. It seems strange that this as only happened since they changed it to TNT. So now I am paying BT for something we cannot watch.

TNT are amongst the first channels affected by a slight dish misalignment so it's entirely possible.
You would need to employ a local satellite engineer to investigate though as Sky no longer provide support for Sky+HD boxes.

Spoken to Sky and they are saying its a BT problem. No one seems to know anything. All I know is I am paying for something I cannot watch

Why not post your signal strengths after tuning to an affected TNT channel as @Annie+UK requested previously?
The underlying cause is most likely to be an issue with your dish setup, not BT or Sky.

Re: TNT sport breaking up and Pixelating.
It's definitely a dish problem, like others have said TNT is often the first channel to go if the dish is slightly out of alignment. If it was a BT/TNT issue the whole country would be affected.
As Sky no longer provide support for Sky+HD, you will need to either get a local satellite engineer to check the dish, or upgrade to Sky Q.

Re: TNT sport breaking up and Pixelating.
Not sure how to do it. We are both in our 70s and not up to all this modern tech. I have taken a picture on my phone.

@lilacs1 Looking at your photo, Input2 looks broken, unscrew both of your dish cables at the back of the Sky box then swap them around and screw them back in again (finger tight)

Just a note, I can see your photo, even though it has bot been posted to a thread, beacuse it was on the queue for image moderation that I perform for the forum 🙂
Though I'd add that in case people think something dodgy is going on 🙂

Re: TNT sport breaking up and Pixelating.
You may need to employ a 3rd party satellite engineer or move to one of Sky's newer systems as Sky+ is now obsolete and Sky will not fix unless you already have Sky Protect Insurance
