Some Chanels say box not getting signal

Picture on all chanels started breaking up, like it does in bad weather, and some chanels were saying box not getting signal.

As our box is over 15 years old, we have swapped it for a new one.

Now several chanels are working ok, but 105 to 112 and 901 are still showing box not getting signal.

The movie chanels said we needed to pair card with box, which we have done and they are ok. But the 105 to 112 and 901 still have box nit getting signal

"No Signal" is an error generated by your TV indicating that it cannot find a device on the current input, check the correct input for your Sky box is selected

"No Satellite Signal" is an error generated by your Sky box and usually indicates an issue with one or more of the following:

• The Dish is misaligned
• The Tuners in the sky box
• The input sockets on the Sky box
• The plugs on the cables
• The cables themselves
• The Sockets on the dishes LNB
• The dishes LNB has gone faulty for the connections the box is using
• You have plugged your Sky+ box into a dish that is only compatible with Sky Q

You may have to call out a local satellite installer, unless you have Sky Protect insurance, to check/fix your system, another option is to move to Sky Q, as during the move all issues will be resolved as part of the install, there is also the option of Sky Glass or Sky Stream, if you want to move away from satellite TV and use the Internet

Re: Some Chanels say box not getting signal

Thanks Annie

I think may be we will have to get an egineer.

The dish has been in the same place for 22 years. The box had been working with it for 15 years. The new box is the same type as the old one, so it may be the dish lnb as you suggest.

Thank you

Deanna

Sky will not now offer an engineer booking for Sky+ / Sky+ HD unless you have pre-existing Sky Protect cover at the address: this is part of the processes of running down the remnants of the Sky+ platform.

If you don't have Sky Protect covering the equipment, you'll need to contact (and pay) a local independent installer: Sky will just tell you to move to Sky Q, which realistically couldn't happen until the new year.
