Sky viewing card needs paired to sky+ hd box

Is this a replacement box, or one you 've had since before October last year?

not replacement turned on tv and says sky viewing card needs to be paired to your sky+ HD box to pair them go to sky.com/quickfix but instead it keeps going to sky q.

What's the background to this? Do you have a SkyTV subscription? When did your Sky+HD box last work ok?

Yes it paid up to date, was working perfect. been away for 2 weeks on return this is on the screen.

@AnnM2 if your Sky box is connected to the Internet you can re-pair the Card by carrying out a New Install. If it's not, you'll have to give Sky a call and they'll do it

no box is not connected to internet but can run a connection from it to internet if i can get it sorted myself. is this possible? as cant get through to sky until tuesday.

@AnnM2 yes, you should be able to. Worth a try if you'll otherwise have to wait until Tuesday.

My sky box is not working and it is paired to my WiFi, the error message is CP01

@Andy671 doesn't sound like a Sky+ box, where you've posted.  Do you have Sky Q or Stream/Glass?
