Sky remote not working can l use a app on my iPad

My remote for sky is not working, can l use my iPad to instead, is there a app for it

I have used an app on an iPad in the past

Have you taken the remote apart and cleaned the internals? I have help on my Sky Plus FAQ for this 🙂

There isn't unless you have already installed the Sky+ app previously on another ipad or iphone so it is  on the same Apple account.

There was/is a 3rd party app that just provided remote control, it had a picture of the sky remote on screen that had working buttons 🙂 This was not the Sky Plus app

I have no idea what that app was as my post about refers to the now discontinued Sky+ app which I managed to get installed on a new iPad as it was still on my Apple account from when I had it on my old iPad.
