Sky+ on stand by

My Sky+ box is on standby by.

It was working 2 days ago, I've switched it all off at the wall & knocked off router too, then switched back on still no joy?

When you press buttons is the red light on the remote lighting up?

If yes, wait a good 5 minutes after plugging in the box, then press Sky. If that doesn't work you're probably stuffed.

I tired everything...no joy.

so I'm now getting a new SkyQ box instead, to b fair my Sky + box is one of the older versions so it is time for an upgrade 😊
