Sky complains ab DHCP server despite not being connected to internet

My Sky+ has stopped working as it detects a DHCP+ error, there is no connection to the internet.

DHCP is provided by your broadband router, have you rebooted your router?

My Broadband and Sky are not connected. BT Broadband. I did reboot the broad band earlier today.

Do you have Sky Plus?

Sky Plus should not error with no Internet as it was designed to work without an Internet connection

Try turning your Sky box off at the mains for a few minutes

Tried that, unplugged for 10 Mins, replugged in same issue.
