I have in the past often used the Sky TV Guide website, but I am now being told that for BBC One and BBC Two and a few other channels that "... programmes no longer available" despite being logged in and the correct area selected from the drop down. Clicking on the message (for BBC One for instance) produces a pop-up that states that channel 101 is SD (when it is not as I already have a Sky+HD box and I can watch BBC One HD on that channel). Pop up also states:
You will need to upgrade your box to view this channel in HD. Call Sky on XXXX 759 5121 (UK) or XXXX 500 068 (ROI) for a free upgrade. [area codes blanked out due to website blocking me posting their own phone numbers in message]
No ... I do not need to upgrade. I already have an HD box. I tried phoning the number but there was no option to explain my issue. My concern is that I might lose BBC channels in the near future. Can anyone help arrest my fears. As such the Sky TV Guide website is no longer reliable/useable.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI see the same and have done since yesterday when the BBC turned their SD channels off. Sky are aware and are looking into it as it is affecting both this online TV Guide and also the one available via Sky Go.
