Sky Sports + on Sky + box?

My elderly mum is a huge football fan and subscribed to Sky Sports + to watch more league and cup matches. Apart from the game being broadcast on the channel, it looks like the other matches are all streamed through the app, which I assume isn't available on Sky +.  She can't view on a tablet or phone, so is the only way to upgrade to Q?

If so, we'll get her upgraded if there's an affordable deal, but I feel like she should have been told this when she subscribed, she's been paying for something that she can't use.

Sky Sports+ is new this season so if your Mum has had Sky Sports on her account for a while then it might explain why she wasn't informed about this. Upgrading to Sky Q will be the only way she will be able to access these mtches if she doesn't use devices like an iPad where they can be watched.

This is hugely helpful, thank you. I think she will find the navigation a bit tricky, but it will be worth it for her to watch her footy!

Hopefully so.

As mentioned in my notes, voice control on Q can be very useful.

I also recommend once setup that she/you set up her favourite channels which allows them to be grouped together and more accesible via less buttons & switching using up/down arrows
