Sky+ No sound on HD channels

My 40 inch tv seems to have died. To convince myself that the tv is faulty and not my sky+ box I have plugged the sky+ box into an older smaller tv using HDMI connection. This works fine apart from no sound on HD channels. I'm hoping this is an issue with the old tv  and nothing to do with my Sky+ box. I didn't have a sound problem on the 40 inch tv before it packed in. I intend to replace the 40 inch tv soon just want to be sure I don't have a sky +box problem

Check that you don't have DolbyD turned on in your Sky box sounds settings.
