Sky+HD still not working after 30 seconds reboot
I have turned off and unplugged, then restarted as many have advised and still getting No Satellite Signal etc. Is the fix for Sky+HD boxes the same as SKY Q boxes???

@GregB1 I'd recommend leaving your Sky off at the plug for at least 4 minutes before restarting it.

Re: Sky+HD still not working after 30 seconds reboot
@MikeBen what has Sky said about it?
There has been a specific 'no satellite signal' fault for the last few days, but if this has been going on for longer than that, then the cause is most likely a fault with your dish or cables. Unfortunately Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ equipment unless you have Sky Protect, so if you want to keep Sky+ you'll need to contact a local satellite engineer to take a look.
Sky's solution will be to suggest you switch to Sky Q, their current satellite service or Stream which is internet based.. If you switch to Sky Q. any dish or cabling issues will be addressed as part of the Sky Q installation at no additional cost to you.
