Sky + HD not working with LG TV

Can't get Sky + HD to work with my new LG (2023) smart TV. Alternates between pic/sound and black screen every second or so! Done troubleshooting including different HDMI cables, different ports, BT Youview box works fine, reset TV, etc. Sky box works just fine with old LED non smart TV! Any suggestions much appreciated.

Not heard of that before. You could try turning your Sky box and your TV off at the plug for 4 minutes. And also try turning off HDMI Control in your Sky box settings. From memory I think it's in the Picture menu.

Thank you and tried this too. Took TV back to store and they said it's fine and maybe my Sky box too old for it!! Its an Amstrad DRX890 and I've had it for over 15 years! Not sure if DRX895W would work as seems a newer one and can get one from EBay? Other family using their similar Sky box to mine just fine with Sony TVs! Thanks again.

@Zahed a replacement box won't help you, I'm afraid, as you can no longer pair your Viewing Card with anything other than the one you've got. It sounds like an HDMI issue of some sort. Have you tried a different HDMI port at the TV end, just in case, if it has more than one? Apart from that, I can only hazard a guess that your Sky box's HDMI output is failing. If your TV has an antique scart socket you could try a scart cable to see if it has the same problem?

Done it! Was choosing satellite option from Aerial, Cable and Satellite on set up which I guess was clashing with signal from Sky box. Ignored options and Sky signal came through! Thanks for the replies and ideas.
