How do I confirm what firmware version a Sky + HD box is running? Is it possible to see the schedule of releases and the different features that are included?

Any help received is much appreciated.

@latenightlizzie Press services on remote , scroll to settings and press select, scroll to details on the top line , the firmware is first line down displayed as model number

there isn't to my knowledge a schedule of releases or what's new information available, the most current firmware is R024.092.11.00p

given that sky + is now classed as a legacy product it very rarely gets updated now any updates that are made are either bug fixes or changes needed for Sky's back end systems and won't contain new features

There are no 'different features', in the sense that the remaining handful of in-support Sky+ HD box models all run the same firmware release, and all the out-of-support hardware just doesn't get updates.
