My Sky HD contract is ending in August. I have 2 x 2TB boxes and multiroom. I really want to keep what I have - not sure if that's an option - didn't seem like it on live chat. Want to be able to record and store on 2 separate boxes ideally. What would be your recomendations ? One tv is in a room that doesn't get the best wifi signal. Thanks 🙂

You don't need to do anything as your Sky+HD boxes will continue to work

Find out moreDo nothing and you'll stay with what you have on a 31 day rolling contract, you need not move from Sky+HD as this will still function, as +HD is a legacy service you may lose access to some features down the line so may need to re-evealuate your situation in the future

As the others have said there should be no reason to move off SKY HD - although you may get better deails if you move & there is a risk of your old boxes having failures but in that case you can still (I believe) find 2nd hand ones on ebay etc.
Should you consider moving to SKY Q then you may wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q - especially my points regarding multiroom/multiscreen
SKY Stream again is a big difference from SKY HD - I have no expereince and am reluctant to move to it from Q.
For Stream you definitely need good internet & wifi
BTW Personally , I would recommened anyone considering Glass to consider Stream instead and if a new TV is wanted look at normal TVs

Sky Q services doesn't include to the option of 2 or more boxes with internal HDDs🤔
Sky Stream dosn't include an option of any boxes with internal HDDs🤔
Neither services meets your basic requirement of boxes with internal HDDs in all boxes😉
Why do you want HDDs in all your boxes?

There are two of us at home that watch very different things separately and neither of us are convinced that having one HDD box will work as you can't have separate profiles. The main box would be downstairs and the mini box upstairs - the wifi in the upstairs room isn't great (have tried all sorts but still isn't great), so not sure it would cope with the wifi.

@wjd33 have you tried powerline networking?
You can have separate playlists on Stream for the two of you.... but no local HDDs😉
