Sky+HD box won’t come out of standby

My Sky+HD box won't come out of standby. I've tried all the usual things including a ful power cycle.  The standby light remains in amber when pressing on/off power button on remote and the one on the box. There is a red light on the front centre of the box. Can anyone help
