I live in Scotland. A week a go we had a massive wind storm. Since then it has not worked. It says - Your Sky -HD box isn't getting a satellite signal. To find out more please go to Sky/.com/nosignal

You may have to call out a local satellite installer, unless you already have Sky Protect insurance, to check/fix your system, another option is to move to Sky Q, as during the move all issues will be resolved as part of the install, there is also the option of Sky Glass or Sky Stream, if you want to move away from satellite TV and use the Internet

If you don't have your own dish, you must be connected to a shared dish, in which case you need to speak to whoever is responsible for it.

Wouldn't that be a bit of a clue a dish is involved somewhere?
For Sky+ HD the options are an individual dish, a feed over coaxial cable from a communal dish somewhere on the building, or (rarely) a feed over optical cable from a dish much further away.

So, if you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise directly with your building management company / landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact.
