Sky+ HD box is not initializing. Any suggestions other than buying a new box please.

My box has not initialized fir a week now. I have tried sky.com help but help is a misnomer because it won't budge beyond the first page. I have switched everything off and in again, checked the light us green on the box, checked all cables are attached and checked the sky card! Help!

If it won't initialise, it's usually because no signal from your dish is reaching the box.
