Sky HD box hard disk drive

There is a problem with the Sky Hd box, have tried resetting it and doing a system reset and still have the issue, is there anyway to fix or replace this box? Would prefer to use an HD over the sky Q

Sky no longer support Sky+

you could buy a replacement from a well known auction site.

(you cannot buy Q as these are loaned from Sky)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

If you've tried a full System Reset (deleting all your saved programmes), then the hard disk has failed, I'm afraid. You can buy a used replacement box cheaply via ebay etc - around £30. Just be sure to select either a DRX890 or DRX895 model as they're the most recent. You'll need to pair your Viewing Card with the replacement box.
