Sky+HD box doesn't recognise connection to router after a power cut

Since a bulb blew elsewhere in the house and tripped the main fuse, the sky+ box hasn't recognised the physical connection to the router. I've changed the cable , plugged it into different ports, "rebuilt" the box, rebooted it but there's still nothing. The Network page just shows "connection to router: FAIL", "Connection to On Demand: FAIL", "IP Address of box: 0.0.0.0", "DHCP: ON"

I don't get the option to connect to wifi manually even if the cable is disconnected.

Is this terminal?

Thanks

@RP61  Have you tried the following steps in this order?

Turn off the Sky+HD box at the wall, then fully reboot your broadband hub, once rebooted then power the Sky+HD box back up.

You may then need to reset the network within the Sky+ menus.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
