Agh! This is sooo frustrating. Fellow BT Broadband ISP.
I've done router reset, sky+ box reset, planner rebuild, network manual configuration to all options suggested.
Still no luck.
The word FAILED next to my downloads is now like a knife in my eyes each time I open the planner. I hope they fix it soon.

Same problem - BT broadband issue. Well done to @Annie+UK Solved much headscratching. Hopefully it will be a permanent fix

@dave.j.r likewise, seems quite random. I've changed the DNS number again, using one of the others suggested, which solved the issue for a couple of downloads, then the dreaded FAIL re-occurred. Very frustrating 🤬

@SuzeyJ I have found that I can get some downloads either early morning or late evening, don't know why this may be.
Sky/Bt need to get this sorted soon or at least give us an update as currently they seem to be ignoring the issue.

Are you using any Parental Controls on your BT Broadband?
Are you using a Home Hub or a Smart Hub? also what version of Hub?
I'm trying to see if a pattern can be found for those having the issue as we have BT Halo 2 with a Smart Hub 2 (Firmware v0.30.01.08093-BT) and are not getting any problems but maybe our viewing habbits mean we are not accessing the fauty content

No parental settings.
I have to admit, this seems to have started since Peacock appeared. Download issues seem to mainly be on Peacock, Nat Geo and Sky Atlantic for me. I have to check other channels.. but don't have much from other channels right now. Those are the 3 for now.
Programmes I have struggled to get are Landscapers, Dexter New Blood, Suits and Drain The Oceans.
I will check other channels.
