If you're trying to connect over wifi, do you have an On Demand Connector in place?

This is a constant issue with Sky HD+ that Sky really need to fix. I'm fed up of paying for a service they can't provide. I've had a new router (Sky) and the problem has only got worse. Personally I think these issues persist as they want us all on SkyQ (£££)

I had this last night.
Solution
Shutdown Sky+ box. Then reboot as if if was stuck/frozen. Then reset your router and do a WPS connection via network settings

I held down the WPS button on the front of the Sky box (two swirly arrows), the TV screen told me to go and do the same on my router. I had to hold the router button for 1-2 full minutes but then it connected automatically without the need for the Sky kill-yourself-scrolling-keyboard.

Hi. Many thanks for the response. Since postingi have discovered what the issue is. Following a lightening strike a while ago, I replaced the box, but not the wireless connector to the router. I have found a replacement and solved the problem. Thanks again for offering to help.

Doesn't sound like the problem being discussed here, that is, Sky box won't connect to broadband.

My Sky tv works for watching programs but it is not connecting to my BT Broadband so no catch up or recording available.. Have tried all the usual solutions but still won't even allow me to put in the password.
