I have same problem after new router put in. Tried all diagnostic stuff but no success.
Have you changed the settings in your Sky box or your new router? If not your Sky box will still be looking for your old router and won't find it, of course.

That's puzzling - you only need to change the settings once. If you've done that, then press the Go to Answer button at the top of this, forum and try @Annie+UK'a suggestion there. If it still won't connect, think you'd best give Sky a call.

Yes, they just want to push a new box at more than twice cost of what I have. Annoying thing is old router (which was a lot slower) was fine with sky box. Will persevere. Thanks for your help.

Even after installing a new BT Router, the wifi is great for all devices other than connecting to the Sky Box. On selecting settings, network etc, Red button does not work, do not know settings info for manual input.
when you say switch off Sky Box I assume you me depower?
I have rebooted the Sky Bix but it still does not see the wifi network.

Same problem with new Talk Talk router. We got "new" sky box Dec 17 however Sky telling me that they stopped making sky+HD boxes 3 years ago so ours was reconditioned. They say all we can do is take a Q box where monthly charge is much higher. Think we'll do away with Sky.

Have you tried any of the solutions suggested in this thread?
Sky still provide a repair service for Sky+ so your not forced to upgrade to Sky Q

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Ale+man I also have the new Talk Talk router and everything works fine so that shouldn't be an issue.
Also, Sky Q subscription is the same as Sky + if you take the smaller Q box and keep the same package.

Thanks for all sugetsions.I have tried all but no joy. Sky told me they could give me Sky Q but not without increasing the cost of the existing package. I do not want to increase the cost. Am going to try them again and if no joy am going to terminate it.
