My Sky+ box has just started to fail to download Sky on demand films and shows but continues to be able to download BBC / ITV on demand. It also continues to be able to record live Tv and schedule and record items from the TV Guide. The error message I get on the Sky box is "Failed Rec Technical fault – 11 (266)" and on my iPad “Failed recording (null)”.
I have rebooted both the box and router with plugs out etc and completed a rebuild but it is still not working. I have checked the box is running the latest software release detailed on the Sky site R024.092.11.00P which it is.
I have multiscreen and do have another fully working box. Really clutching at straws here but not sure if this is somehow related to the fact that the fully working box is included in the My Details section of My Sky and the box that isn’t working for Sky on demand is not and that that may be indicative of a lack of entitlement (in error) to Sky on demand for this box. Both boxes are shown in the Product Settings section of My Sky.
Please can anyone advise what I need to do to fix my problem of the Sky on demand not working. Many thanks in advance for your help.
