Scheduled Sky BBC upgrade has taken away my recording and playback services

I arranged ugrade for BBC today - installation is due next month. I thought " great". But now my Sky+ recording and playback services that I have used for 20 years have gone. The on-screen number "to upgrade" is a number that is not recognised. Trawling the web for a Sky customer service number produces many sales centre numbers but no obvious support numbers. I feel confused and frustrated.
