looking for any advice you have for myself as i dont want to upgrade to q or anything, i have renewed my sky package last month with my hd box but they have cancelled my multiroom
by mistake there saying and cant reinstate this, this is lies though as they send another viewing card out and it activated in the multiroom box after calling up they then advised it had been cancelled by error at there end and to insert it into my main box which i have done i have everything working apart from the sports channels when i acitvate it, it says successfull channels will be available soon but they dont come on, i spoke with sky who just keep saying i need to upgrade but im not willing to change until satellite is ruled out in my area ( which i doubt for a few years) i got someone in the uk call center yesterday who said she would send signal again to make sure it was activated and said this could take 4 hours, still hasnt worked still got everything apart from all sports, do you have any advice, i dont see how they renewed the package in december 2024 if they cant fullfill what im paying for, at first i told them i was cancelling as i didnt want to upgrade to skyq etc then next minute i could keep the same package with my sky hd box but theyve cancelled the mutliscreen and says this cant be added back on either any helps appreciated thanks

Can we just check if at any time you agreed to upgrade to SKY Q and then change your mind.
I doubt it from what you say about not wanting to switch but it helps us, as we know that the procedures within SKy seem to trigger cancellation of multroom boxes

I have escalated your post to a SKY support team, who, hopefully, will be in touch.
Please note they will need to know the full sequence of events and they may not be help you restore service fully but I do feel they will do all they can to see what is possible

If you are using Safari I believe you must make sure that 'Hide IP address' is not checked in settings to be able to see it - if you have difficulty finding that setting then may be try accessing here with another browser

Thanks very much, they have said basically because i would not upgrade theyve cancelled sky sports and refunded me from the 17th decemeber but i still have the normal package on my sky hd box just not sports now. Basically lost themselfs money for not pairing the card up even though theyve paired it to get access to all the other channels.

Nope i have never agreed to change to skyq ive had the sky hd box and multiroom for over 16 years without any problem until i renewed the package now lost sports on my main box and lost multiscreen altogether.

Thanks alot, its causing so much hassle and stress and certainly very time consuming calling to get passed around for hours to get nowhere, thanks alot for youre help @nigea99 hopefully i get this fixed

When satellite television broadcasting ends, probably around the turn of the decade, it will be for the whole of the UK and Republic of Ireland.
