This is driving me nuts..
I've replaced my Sky+HD box to get wifi, but am now stuck in a loop trying to validate my card.
I updated the software (although apparently there's been no updates for a while) and using my Sky ID, log into the validation instructions - select Sky+ box, scroll down - and click on the card validation link - but it just takes me back to the start of the process again (select Sky+ box, etc).. I never get to a page where I can actually input the instructions, and trying to use the App is the same. The only management of my devices I can do is to reset my PIN..
Any ideas out there to help me work this out, or am I doomed to spend hours on hold to a call centre somewhere?

@rowdoc As of 29h October sky has blocked the pairing of viewing cards to replacement boxes and this can no longer be done I'm afraid

I should add - I replaced a non-wifi HD box with a wifi capable HD box. I've not changed anything else..

Unfortunately since late October you can no longer pair a card with any box other than the one it was paired with prior to then.

Oh.
Mysteriously on the Sky HD screen now it's saying that "Pairing was successful. Your channels will be available shortly."
It all sounds like it's doomed to fail, but I guess we'll see what happens. It sounds like my "new" box is a door stop. 😞

It's a brick, and it's my fault I went and bought it without doing all the due diligence. Not sure what to do with it now.

thank you. Dont feel bad I have 3 of those boxes as spares. Its amazing how quikc stuff is made obselescent. Wonder what sky will say when my box goes ... ts up and I cancel. On £62 a month.
