Problems...

I have a Sky+HD box.

At the weekend I lost the ability to select catch up or on demand with a message stating, connect your Sky +HD box to your broadband. My HD box is hard wired to my Sky router. My broadband is also supplied via Sky. I was advised to reboot my router and Sky+HD box which I did and it sorted out this problem.

However since then, when I select the tv guide button on my remote control and go to the tv guide / catch up tv / sky cinema etc page there are no 'top picks' on the bottom half of the page; it just says 'come back soon to see whats on'. It's been like this since Sunday night and I've re booted the Sky+HD box a second time with no improvement. 

When selecting tv guide or planner from the main page, selection is almost instant, however all the other selections, catch up tv / cinema / sky box sets etc take easily 10 seconds from selection to bring the selected page up and then a further 10 seconds or more to populate the page.

I've checked the broadband via my Sky account page and it says it is working normally.

Incidently my laptop has also started taking its time connecting to the internet (via my Sky router) and some short cuts are timing out before connecting. Not sure these instances are links but it is coincidental.

Facing the same problems as original poster and expected to fix it myself from my wheelchair. the router has been slowly dieing for a while but sky dont do repairs during covid it is done diy style.

Having problems with catch up not working anymore and taking ages to load

also bottom half of page best picks blank and icons say no image

it is a sky + hd box and hard wired with speed from router 400

this is just started all of a sudden
