Pairing viewing card Sky+HD

My previous viewing card suddenly stopped working. I phoned customer services and a replacement card was issued.

I received the replacement card and inserted it into the box.

However, I am having issues with pairing the viewing card.

The current message I am receiving is "Request was successful. Your Channels will be available shortly" however even after 4+ hours this message is still appearing or the viewing card needs to be re paired again. I am just going around in a loop doing these steps.

The viewing card number under system details matches the card and does to on my SKY account.

With still no luck I contacted customer services with varying responses

1)  They have tried remotely

2) You need to update to SKY Q

3) Activate my channels

This response was the most helpful but I am unable to access "activate my channels". Searching activate my channels is sending me to a help screen about pairing the viewing card.

I was wondering if anyone else had experience anything similar? It would be great if anyone has the link for "activate my channels" or how to access it. Does anyone have any experience of  dealing with this issue?

@Luckes

Since October of last year it is no longer possible to pair a different viewing card to a Sky+ box so from here on in you will need to upgrade to Sky Q, Glass or Stream.

@Luckes I don't understand what has happened here. If Sky sent you a replacement Card it should pair ok, as it's essentially the same as the old Card. A new Card would be a different matter. I'd go back to Customer Services.
