Our sky + HD box does not allow us to see recordings or record we aresubscribed till end of Dec

unable to see recorded programmes or record. when I try to put the box on Kids or on sky atlantic it says we dont have subscription to Sky+ this is not true our contract is valid till the end of december 2023. waited on the phone for 38 min until the phone battery ran out. I have performed a reset, cleaned the card, rebuilt the planner but still no joy. Can any one help or suggest a contact with sky which is not going to be waiting for the phone to be answered in reasonable time not 38 min? Thank you

@Dr+Zakhour Have you previously ordered Sky Q then changed your mind?

@oj01 Thank you for replying. I started to order skyQ after the problem started then I changed my mind as I felt I was perhaps being pressured to change my box. The issue was before I made and aborted the order. Does that help?

You'll need to contact Sky and get a new Viewing Card as your old one gets cancelled after sometime of ordering Sky Q even if the order is stopped for any reason

@Annie+UK thank you for your reply. I have been in touch with sky and a helpful gentleman rest things from far away and everything is working. No sensible reason apart from the "signal sometimes gets degraded" within one minute everything is working. Of course I ended upgrading to SkyQ !!
