@PocketDog It's interesting that you say even a different router of the same type worked. I never did resolve this issue beacause I don't want to replace a router which is functioning perfectly in every other respect. When my hd box gives up the ghost I will be leaving sky because I use streaming services more now, but having downloads working would have made me more inclined to stay.
