Same. No change. It seems that the answer "These instances are decreasing however we are still monitoring and expect this number of affected boxes to taper off." doesn't seem to be happening unless people are quiting or moving to SkyQ (as @PocketDog 'joked') or a lot of people with service back are not commenting here. I would like to know how Sky are monitoring who cannot download and so how it is possible to know that the number of affected boxes is tapering off. Hopefully they are not relying upon first-time user comments on this thread.
Whilst the tagged 'answer' to this thread made sense 10 days ago, it is increasingly seeming as though the 'answer' should be updated as the credibility of the answer will 'taper off' as time goes by. Tagging a thread as answered when only one person seems to be 'back' ( @Tezspen ) after 10 days seems wrong, even if the 'answer' is the latest update for the benefit of new readers of this thread.

Well said @Steve0001
@Kirsty+S27 can you add anything to your answer?

We still have the same download problem caused by Sky since the end of January. No change here yet, despite a glimmer of hope 10 days ago.
Please update your answer @Kirsty+S27

Still no joy here either. Guess I'm not joining the "Taper off Club" yet!

I used the messenger service with sky to log the issue as it's clear there's no quick fix coming via these channels and I won't continue to pay full price for partial service. They insisted on sending a serviceman over and he didn't bother calling me at work and just switched the box for a newer hd box. It still doesn't download and now I've lost all the recorded stuff we had on the old box they took away!
I'll update the group with the next steps they suggest.

It seems there is still a lot of smoke and mirrors going on.

Genuis. Considering we know and they know what the problem is, what a waste of time for you and the engineer and you lost your recording's needlessly.
Seems there are either way more affected than Sky suggested, or they aren't putting much effort (if any) in to resolving this. After all, they havent actually said they are fixing it. Either way, this doesnt increase confidence in Sky's already abysmal problem solving track record.
I also found out this has affected the in-laws too but they had assumed it was their own issue so never told Sky and just use Sky Go if needed. Have told them about this thread and that Sky are aware, not that it seems to count for much.

My downloading issue is resloved but no thanks to Sky.
After enduring a maximum 3Mb download speed courtesy of BT I have taken out a mortgage and bought a Starlink satellite dish. Download speed now varies between 100Mb and 201Mb; like you care, ha.
Anyway I can now download everything on Sky.
I don't understand any of the technical talk on here about DNS and WiFi etc. I've no idea what the difference is between how BT broadband and Starlink connect with Sky. I am posting this in case it helps those of you who understand such things work out what is going on.

Thank you for updating us @shand9876
I would advise for those who continue to have the issue downloading it may be worth checking your broadband speeds 👀
Thanks

Even though we only had a 3Mb speed it did not stop us downloading before January. We just set it to record overnight.
Speed is not the issue.
Sky is the issue.

If Sky was the issue how comes moving ISP fixes the issue?

This specific issue has nothing to do with broadband speed.
