Our card was working fine until last Sunday, then the error message was shown. We have tried all the suggestions to put it right but it still isn’t working.what do we need to do? Do you need to send us a new card?

This is the link that has been used for ages an we have had no complaints from Sky+ users in the past http://activatemychannels.sky.com, If you cannot perform thIs or it fails for some reason then Sky can pair your card remotely if you give them a call.
Has the procedure changed?

Yes because of the Covid-19 situation there hasn't been any phone lines manned in the call centres. This link does not work for me as apparently I need a replacement card and I can't get this because Sky call centres are closed. Sky cut me off without any message. I've now applied to cancel my Sky subscription

The call centres are open during their normal hours but struggling with the double whammy of having reduced staffing and significantly increased calls. That's likely to mean that when the call waiting queue is full, your call can't be taken. Keep trying.

I have suddenly received a message stating the viewing card is not authorised. I have not agreed a new Sky Q box and do not have an official order in place. I cannot see Sky and I am both angered that this has happened and want to know who and how this viewing card can be re booted so i can use it. I seemed to be unable to talk to anyone because of COVID and none of your online advice helps. I need someone in SKY HQ to re boot my viewing card ASAP.

Again getting no response from sky regarding “card not authorised” message repeatedly being shown every time we try to go on sky. Perhaps it’s time to cancel our subscription and try an alternative! PLEASE SEND A REPLACEMENT CARD ASAP! We are not a Sky Q customer so please don’t give us information for a sky Q card

The link provided is of no use in my case as Sky have changed the viewing card information on my account. The viewing card I am using in my Sky+ box does not appear as an option to 'pair' on my account! I cannot see how I can rectify this as Sky must put the correct information on my account

I've had enough. Sky Q order cancelled and Sky cancelled, 4k Freesat box ordered!
