Not getting any sky programmes .Also dvd screen keeps coming up which we have never used.

A few days ago the dvd screen kept coming up on tv whenever we where watching sky programmes. Now we can get BBC etc but nothing on sky.

Some basics: does the power LED on your Sky box go green when you turn the box on? Can you see the Sky box home screen/menus on your tv?
