No signal on second sky box

SKY box downstairs working fine, upstairs box has no signal? 
Message is box is initializing but does not resolve.

You have either a cable issue, faulty LNB on the dish or less likely a broken sky box

Thanks for the quick reply.  I have tried another sky box.  Will check the cable later.

what is the LNB? And is that fixable?

The LNB is the thing on the dish that all the cables plug into, if it is broken only replacing it will fix it

If you see nothing obviously wrong with the cable you'll need to call someone out, who will check eveything out
