No signal on new tv

Hi all. I bought an LG 50UT91006LA on Saturday. It was all connected by HDMI and was working on a sky +hd box. The odd time the box lost signal but came on. However, I came back in today and turned everything else back on but tv still wont pick up the box despite it been on. I am getting sky q set up on Friday. Is there anything that I can do for my current sky box just so it is picked up by the tv.

Swap to another HDMI input on your LG TV and/or change the HDMI cable out for a different one

...and if that's to no avail, turn both your Sky box and your TV off at the plug for 5 minutes, then try again.
