No signal on input 1 but good on input 2.
Goos signal on input2 but none on input 1.
Changing cable inputs has no effect.
Is it possible to use input 2 only?

Re: No signal on input 1 but good on input 2.
Turn your Sky box off at the plug and connect the 'good' cable to input 1. Then see if you have a signal.

Re: No signal on input 1 but good on input 2.
Thanks for your reply but I probably wasn't clear. Both cables have good signal but the sky box can't see it at input 1. Probably a bad connection in the box, so need to only use input2 but How?

Re: No signal on input 1 but good on input 2.
Firstly have you restarted the box after disconnecting/reconnecting the dish cables? If you've inadvertently shorted the connection (easily done) the box will protect itself and need a restart to reset it.
You could try Single Feed Mode (the setting is in the hidden Installer Menu) which allows the box to work with a single dish cable, but I think the connection has to be to dish input 1.
