No satellite signal sky+

Iv had a message saying your sky HD+ box isn't getting a satellite signal. Your recordings in the planner may be available, however they are not. If I go onto planner it says your box is still initialusicone back in a few moments. , but nothing ever happens. Iv made sure all wires are plugged in , Iv tried turning it off and on again, along with the tv set itself, still nothing

Recordings become unavailable, when you turn off your Sky box at the plug while it has no satellite signal.

The cause is most likely a fault with your dish or cables. Unfortunately Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ equipment unless you have Sky Protect, so you'll need to contact a local satellite engineer to take a look.

Alternatively now might be a good time to consider upgrading to Sky Q. Any dish or cabling issues will be addressed as part of the Sky Q installation at no additional cost to you.
