We have error message 25 ("Your Sky+ isn't getting a satellite signal.") on only one of three Sky+ boxes. Only some channels are affected. The affected box does not display HD pictures when an HD channel is selected.
A Sky Protect rep said that he could tell immediately the box alone is the problem. He advised sourcing a replacement from Amazon. The current box has wi-fi, so I assume it is a DRX890WL.
Will purchasing an Amazon renewed DRX890WL HD box solve the problem?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave you tried replacing the dodgy box with one that is working to eliminate the cables/Dishes LNB from being the issue?

Hi there
what kind of sky + box do you have because channels are now disconnected without warning..
Sky Atlantic UK is no longer available via SD only boxes. and Eurosport 2 as well.

Different cause. The OP is seeing a 'no satellite signal' message.
I assume you've seen the warnings that you'll lose channels on your Sky+ box. You'll either need to replace your box with a Sky+HD box which can still receive these channels, or upgrade to Sky Q.

It is a Sky+ HD box.
