No picture on TV or sound

TV as no sound or picture, sky box is on and red light is flashing at the bottom of the TV. I have turned it off at the main for 2 minutes and back on but nothing is happening.

A flashinmg power LED on the Sky box usually indicates a power supply failure and the box will be dead

Try turning the box off for at least 5 minutes

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy/obsolete service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q (Satellite TV is approaching end of life so is not a long term solution)

Is the flashing light on the TV or the Sky Box?

Whichever is flashing is where the problem lies.
